Update Dark Age of Camelot
First, you need the version 1.90 EU (preferably English)
Edit your update.dat which can be found in your DAoC folder to the following:
update.dat for DAoC Darkness Rising:

Note: When patching you may have to rename your camelot.exe to something else (e.g. camelot2.exe)!
Connecting to Uthgard server
The easiest way is to download the DAoC Portal Launcher.
DAoC Portal Launcher
Important : DAoC Portal Lancher needs Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 to be installed.
Now, you are nearly finished. Just start DAoCPortal.exe, the program asks for the path of your Dark Age of Camelot client.
Then click on Uthgard (can be found in the "Supporting" list), type in a username and password and you are ready for play.
You don't need to register an account to play, just type in an username and password - it's auto-created - but it might be that your username is already in use then try another.
If you dislike using DAoC Portal, there is another way to get into the game.
Batchfile:
Download
Save the file to any place you like and open it with a text editor (e.g. rightclick -> edit).
At "youraccount" and "yourpassword" at the end of the file you have to enter your own accountname and password. You do not have to register an account. It will be created automatically. Just execute the Uthgard.bat and enjoy the game.
Have fun playing on Uthgard!

@gerasacconi: You are talking about US, not EU - and you cannot connect to Uthgard with it.

Save it. After that execute camelot.exe. It will patch the actual European Version with english texts. After the update everything might be fine. |
Remember to choose your Expansion you want to play with and change labyrinth with your actual expansion!!!
